Fusion Upgrade LLC ("Fusion Upgrade," "we," "us") buys used consumer electronics from customers in the United States, Canada, and worldwide. This policy explains what information we collect when you get a quote or sell us a device, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to pay you for your device, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address, provided when you submit an order or contact us.
• Payment handle — the PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App identifier you give us so we can pay you. We never ask for bank passwords or card numbers.
• Device information — the model, storage, carrier, condition, and, once we receive your device, its serial number or IMEI. We record identifiers to verify the device you shipped, prevent fraud, and support shipping-insurance claims.
• Photos (optional) — if you choose to photograph your device in our app, those photos are used only to prepare your quote. The app asks for camera permission first and works fine without it.
• Order and support messages — records of your quotes, orders, tracking lookups, and any WhatsApp, text, email, or call correspondence with us.
• Basic technical data — standard web logs (such as IP address and browser type) collected by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To generate your quote, process your order, and send you a prepaid shipping label.
• To pay you once your device is received and inspected.
• To update you about your order — by email, text, WhatsApp, or (if you enable them in our app) push notifications.
• To verify devices, prevent fraud, and comply with laws that apply to electronics resale.
• To respond when you contact us for help.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

When we share information

• Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) receive your name and address to create labels and move your package.
• Payment services (PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App) receive what's needed to send your payment.
• Service providers that host our website, store order data, and deliver notifications process data on our behalf.
• Legal reasons — if required by law, or to prevent fraud, theft, or abuse (for example, verifying a device is not reported lost or stolen).

Your device's data

Before shipping any device to us, please erase it and remove activation locks (such as Find My iPhone) where possible. When we receive devices, we factory-erase any that arrive with personal data on them as part of processing. We do not browse, copy, or keep the personal files on devices we buy.

App permissions

Our mobile app may request camera access (to photograph your device for a quote) and notification permission (for order-status updates). Both are optional, requested only when relevant, and can be changed anytime in your phone's Settings.

Data retention

We keep order records — including device identifiers, payments, and invoices — as long as needed for accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, and tax purposes. If you'd like your contact information removed from our records, contact us and we'll honor it wherever the law doesn't require us to keep it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. New York and other regional laws may give you additional rights, which we honor. We respond to every request.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Sellers must be old enough to legally sell a device in their region.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. Continued use of our site or app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
